Thoughts on Diamond Jubilee
OK, so I’m British. Meaning that this weekend is officially an extra Bank Holiday due to the Queen celebrating her Diamond Jubilee. This means that (mostly) everyone gets both Monday and Tuesday off work.
Now, normally I’d be happy about this.
But I’ve finished University for the Summer.
So my week is exactly the same as any other week.
Only my better half has the two days off work.
Which makes me happy, because we have an extra two days together.
So thank you, Your Majesty, for allowing my better half to have the time off work to celebrate the fact that you’ve had 60 years of ruling over the United Kingdom.
I get to see this beautiful man’s face again tonight while I’ve got my arm around the beautiful better half.
I am excited!
